Taliesin was born underwater in a barn in Vermont to a performance artist and a compost engineer. His earliest memories were of catching fish, frogs, snakes, and birds, and being held by a loving community. His teenage years were marked by a long, slow dance with bone cancer. While recovering from twenty surgeries and the removal of his left hip and pelvis, he began flying cameras on drones — a way to re-experience the world in motion. Drones became films; films became stories — and healing took flight.

As a filmmaker, Taliesin listens for the raw beauty, pain and silliness that connects us all. His latest film, Listen, produced by Academy Award winner Sam Davis, will premiere at the 2026 Tribeca Festival.
